The office is still closed for calls at present, as staff have been affected by coronavirus, however we aim to answer all emails before the end of April.

At Aim for ‘A’ Revision Courses we are educationalists; therefore we care about the standard of the education we deliver. We strive to provide high quality revision, so that our students can realistically improve their chances of meeting their target grades, be it with their IB, A/S, A2, IGCSE/GCSE or Year 10 examinations.

We only deliver courses which are tailored specifically to the learning needs of all our students. Each student who attends must specify what they are hoping to achieve from the course before it starts - so as to maximise the learning outcomes.  We further enhance the learning experience by limiting our numbers in each particular class to just 5 or 6. We also aim to deliver an exam board specific course for each subject studied.

It is also our firm belief that a stimulating, well-equipped learning environment is of key importance during a course and thereby conducive to study. This goes in tandem with our high quality tutors, who are committed to our students even after the courses have finished.

We now deliver a wide range of courses across the South East covering all the major examination boards from our centres in Kent, Surrey and London, on both a residential and non-residential basis at Easter, Christmas, February, May and during the Summer Holidays.

We also cater for an increasing number of international students, who choose to revise with us for their IGCSE and A level exams on a residential basis at Easter.

Due to the present coronavirus outbreak, we will move rapidly to providing tuition online with our previous tutors who will receive training in providing this form of tuition. Further online tutors are being recruited, to cope with the increased demand for this option.

On Friday March 20th, it was announced that ‘A’ level results will be awarded in July, based on predicted grades and school work, although evidence may ultimately be required of these predicted grades in the Summer term, before final grades are awarded. For any student, who is predicted a lower grade than anticipated, there can be an appeal made and then a test/exam sat 'early in the next academic year' e.g. September/October 2020. Alternatively, a resit can be sat in Summer 2021.

We can therefore provide support for students in the meantime, in case they need evidence of their present attainment levels in the Summer term, or else if they wish to keep their learning going between now and the early Autumn; alternatively we can offer a revision course prior to the resits in April 2021. The provision can now be done online, or in person at school, once schools open their doors again.

For present GCSE students, we can offer a Lower Sixth booster course in August, prior to the start of their next academic year, or else through online tuition, should schools remain closed. Alternatively, we can also offer a revision course in the Upper Sixth for two years’ time.

Unfortunately, we cannot issue refunds for the any bookings made to date for Easter, as the courses were cancelled by the UK Government, for reasons outside of our control, due to the present coronavirus outbreak; however we can issue a credit note, for any future courses booked, or to support present A level students online, or potentially at school, to the value paid.

In the meantime, we will provide further updates, when they are released by the Government.

As mentioned above, we can also now offer online support. The fees for this service are now included on our fees page of the website.

We copy the press release from the Department of Education below, which explains what will happen in 2021, which might affect students who were due to take their exams in 2020:
